 The Benton Panther Soccer teams had a successful evening collectively, beating Sheridan 2-0 in the JV Women's match and 3-0 in the JV Men's match. The Varsity Women came back from a one goal deficit in the first half scoring two in the second half and holding the YellowJackets at bay for a 2-1 win. The win puts the Lady Panthers at 4-0 overall and 3-0 in conference. The Varsity Men started off the match with a quick score as Blake Eason took the ball from mid-field and put it in the back of the net only 9 seconds into the game. Blake ended up with a hat-trick for the game scoring three times. Final score 11-0. The win puts the Panthers back in the win column, 3-1 overall and 2-1 in conference. Next up for all teams is a home conference matchup vs Texarkana. JV Women start at 4pm, JV Men approximately 4:45PM, Varsity Women approximately 5:30PM and Varisty Men approximately 7PM.
